our story
Conifer Homes was founded in 2019 by Leslie and Jim Shindler. Jim has had over 45 years of experience in commercial construction and development and Leslie is a retired pension analyst. Together, they have gone through the process of designing and building eight custom homes of their own and loved the process enough to begin their own home building company. Quality and design are of paramount importance and the Conifer team works closely with the architect and leave no stone unturned to come up with the most versatile and unique designs. Choosing quality over quantity, Conifer Homes builds 3-5 homes a year, each boasting unparalleled craftsmanship that any one of the team would be proud to call their own.

Jennifer Shindler is a seasoned real estate professional based in Dallas, Texas, known for her exceptional service and expertise in the local real estate market, with specializations in golf course communities and new construction homes. As a multi-generational Texan, she has lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for most of her life. She grew up in a real-estate family and is the third generation to continue in the business. She attended The University of Oklahoma, where she majored in entrepreneurship and venture management at the Price College of Business. After college, Jennifer began her real-estate career in Dallas, developing tenacity and drive to grow her business to where it is today.
With a career spanning over 17 years, Jennifer has built a reputation for her dedication to helping clients achieve their real estate goals. She offers her clients a personalized, detail-oriented and service-driven approach, all in a highly competitive market. Shannon McGough spent a decade designing luxury hotel developments with world renown Interior Architecture Firm Wilson Associates. When she decided to switch gears to custom residential it only made sense to treat them as luxury properties, no matter the size. Shannon spent several years working specifically for custom builders in the Dallas area to learn the construction process and will tell you “your design team is only as strong as their relationship with the builder and client”. When Shannon builds a home with you, furnishing it just comes naturally and is perfectly executed. Shannon is also the proud owner of a Conifer Homes.
wyatt seals | construction manager
Wyatt and the Shindlers met when he was the construction manager for their Vaquero Home built by Platinum Series by Mark Molthan. Wyatt spent eight years with Platinum series building 5,000 to 15,000 square foot homes. When Conifer homes started up the Shindlers thought of no one but Wyatt to join the team as construction manager and he was thrilled.
